GENRE: Action,Thriller & Horror
At first glance big bold red writng slwoly appears on the screen showing "BLADE" this gives the viewer the feeling that it might be something related to danger or blood as these are the words that come to my head first.
Then after it shows the busy cityscape with background music in daytime and then cuts to a man and women in a car. The young women leads the man to a slaughter house full of poultry the man is very surprised of his whereabouts.
The man and women go up to a short hallway and meet a bouncer or a doorman and the lady speaks another language to the bouncer then the man and women kiss eachother. At this point i believe the man is clueless showing that he is very vulnerable. After the bouncer opens a big metal door then a very upbeat music kicks in as they enter. As they enter there is a party atmosphere going on everyone dancing & enjoying themselves. As the man is trying to enjoy himself he is pushed away as he tries to introduce himself to others. Credits were shown throughout the whole opening (2 mins).

The opening starts very slowly showing all the credits and title of the film in a sort of graffiti style. Then it starts as the camera slowly goes to the left then you can see a steel sink giving the impression of prison and a guy dressed in overalls getting up from his bed.
Then a narrator starts talking as his talking the camera pans up and you can see a cross tattoed on the manz left arm. After that the camera turns to pictures of footballers on the wall that are stuck on like posters.
Camera goes to over the head position as the man on the screen goes down to a psuh up position.
Camera goes in front of the guy where you can see whats behind him which is a hallway and other cells you can hear the guy breathing hard as he does one individual push up.
Then the camera turns to the guards 3 of them walking in an orderly fashion. Then the camera turns to another cell mate next door to him and after camera comes back to him showing him wrapping his hand in a cloth.

At first it shows walt disney and pixar with a sort of classical music and certain animations going witht he credits then it shows the title of the film with a very colourful background full of doors.
Then the camera goes through a pitch black door and ending up in a room full of stuffed toys on a shelf. As the camera still is filming the stuffed toys on the shelf we can hear certain characters saying goodnight to eachother.
Then the camera pans down showing a little girl sleeping on her bed and then cuts to a wide shot showing her room and after cuts to a little desk clock which is ticking then keeps on cutting to a toy yatch and then cuts to behind her showing us whats in front of her which is a door and the window which is open and the wind blowing the curtains.
